Along with direct scholarships to local schools and community colleges, we also support the Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust. The Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust, in partnership with our eighteen independent member schools, recruits and supports through the admissions process academically ambitious, African American students with financial need from the Baltimore area. Once students are enrolled, B.E.S.T. positions them for success through academic preparation, character and leadership development and support programs.

 

We also support organizations that provide mentorship for young people and adults, job skills training, and literacy programs.

Mentoring Mentors cultivates the next generation of Black community leaders by facilitating near-to-peer mentorships that build confidence, provide academic support, promote social-emotional development and give Black youth the tools and supports needed to manifest their dreams. 

 

GEM is a Living Classroom program of that empowers motivated high school girls who lack access to support, resources and opportunities by providing mentoring and growth experiences that will enable them to become independent, self-sufficient, and confident young women.
