Arbor Dog Foundation believes in Baltimore. Its character and vibrancy shine through its challenges and our mission is to improve the lives of those who live here. So many people and organizations are fighting for a better future for Baltimore. Arbor Dog is just one piece of this puzzle. Our mission is to help existing non-profit organizations thrive, connect and build networks of change.
When you donate to Arbor Dog, you will know exactly where your dollars are going. With extremely low overhead, we can ensure that all your funding reaches the people who need it. We work with fully vetted existing organizations that align with our mission of helping the underserved through our “Three Es”: Education, Employment opportunities and Environmental awareness and accountability. We see these ideals as interconnected, and many of the organizations we support blur the lines between them.
Education
Education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world. It’s not just about scholarships, it’s about providing community literacy resources, mentorship programs, job skill training, and environmental mindfulness.
Employment Opportunities
Everyone deserves to have a meaningful job that pays a living wage. Arbor Dog partners with organizations that provide mentorship, skills training, financial literacy and workforce development.
Environmental Concerns
Through education, reducing food waste, keeping things out of landfills, and creating green spaces, we can all work together to enhance our local and global environment.
